Co-Founder

Jack Lauber is a co-founder of Altruistic Asset Management and Altruistic Real Estate Fund. After graduating in 2015 with a bachelor of science in accounting from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, Jack earned a position in the assurance services department of a local CPA firm, Conner Ash, P.C. While working with a variety of businesses and nonprofit organizations, he gained a wealth of knowledge in all areas of business with a strong focus on the bottom line. “My biggest take away from my time in public accounting was the vast opportunity to create, own and operate a business. It gave me an understanding of all aspects of business, from people and culture to structure and risk.”

Jack now serves as an assistant controller for Saint Louis based Midas Hospitality, a national hotel management company that develops and constructs all of their new properties. Currently, Jack is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for several properties. He works in unison with hotel general managers to help them meet financial objectives, while providing timely and accurate financial reporting. “During my time at Midas, I have been able to think as a business owner would think. It has given me an opportunity to not only manage revenue and expenses, but work one on one with hotel employees while building strong relationships.”

“The foundation and sustainability of business is built on people and relationships. We plan to not only provide a satisfactory return to our investors, but also build a lasting relationship. Through trust and integrity, I believe that Altruistic Asset Management is set up to achieve just that.” – Jack Lauber
